    Whether you’re a supporter of the Bench Press Greats or a contestant in one of Kirk Stroud’s Powerlifting Championships, you will absolutely want to be in Dallas for the Europa Super Show Sports Expo on August 16th at 12 NOON!!!

    Great Pros and Legends take the stage at Ed and Betty Pariso’s huge Europa Super Show. The Powerifting Supershow features every facet, including The Pendlay Bar Olympic Weightlifting competition in the same venue. Intensity, fun, and glued-to-your-seat excitement!

    The world’s only ½ Ton Benchers, Gene Rychlak, Ryan Kennelly and Scot Mendelson have committed to take the stage at the Superlifting Pro Bench Press. For years now Powerlifters have wanted to see these three legends face each other on the same stage. Until now there have been a number of issues involving rules, federations and the usual issues inherent in the widespread sport of powerlifting that have prevented this historic meeting of the greats. These courageous men have committed to show all what they’re made of in a unique format, and on the same platform. Everyone at Ed and Betty Pariso’s huge Europa Super Show Sports Expo will have a chance to see these superstars shine. The intensity will be high. The fun and excitement will be incredible.

    Great pros and legends also committed to lift in the Superlifting Pro Bench Press include the unstoppable Rob Luyando, Bobby Fields, new SHW challenger Glenn Russo, Paul Key, Metal Militia’s Sebastian Burns, and lightweight sensation Joe Ceklovsky who’s benched an incredible 600 lbs at a shredded 148 lbs bodyweight.

    Stars from the south slated to compete are… wild strong man from Baton Rouge, Jesse Kellum and his prolific training partners Frank Camanita and new Luyando-challenger A.J. Schroeder. Houston’s dynamic Tiny Meeker, who vows to get his lifts in big time, and the valorous upcoming star, Dallas’s own Jason Coker.

    To be announced very soon are Special guest stars and new competitors. Legends of the past to be formally honored, as well as honor the sport’s current greats. The Supershow girls will be treating audience members to Free T-shirts, and free popcorn and balloons for kids.

    The full lineup of Super Pros will be announced very soon. There is still time to lift in any of Kirk Stroud’s Powerlifting Supershow divisions. Print your Entry Form from PowerliftingSupershow.com. The Superlifting Pro Bench Press has a few slots open. To get your invite be on the Superlifting Pro stage, email Jason Phillips at admin@powerliftingsupershow.com. Include your name, contact info, weight class, and best competition bench press.

    Weight classes: under-198, Heavyweight-under 259, SuperHeavyWeight-over 259.
    Prize Money each weight class: 1st place $2,000, 2nd $500, 3rd $250.
    An additional $2,000, $1,000 each, for an after meet bench-off to be awarded to best SHW and under SHW. Prize money is provided by Superlative Productions with Over $20,000 awarded between the Europa and another 2008 Pro Event to be announced soon.
