Rob Luyando Breaks 242 Class Bench Record

Roy Luyando benched 810 pounds on Saturday at the APF Wolverine Open in Kalamazoo, Michigan to set the all-time record in the 242 pound weight class. The effort surpasses Chip Stewart and Jason Jackson who sat at 804.7 pounds. Luyando also set the the all-time mark in the 220 class just three weeks ago with an 804.7 pound bench press.

Holy shit. I can't believe I'm in the same weight class as that fu-cker. I have to get stronger or lose some god damn weight.

What do you figure he hits unequipped?

Goals for December 2007:

Elite 1825 lb Total @220, trim down a bit in the mean time, too.
