we've all spent hours in the gym, lets take it outside..just some thoughts for you guys:
Grab a 45 plate and go for a nice walk--say a mile
Grab some 35# dumbbells in each hand--go another mile
Throw a rope over a limb and attach a 45# plate to one end, do hand over hand triceps
Dig in atop a nice hill..drag a couple 45's up the hill on the end of a long rope, hand over hand style
Use ropes to do your pull-ups
Drag a sled
Do car pulls--have someone in the driver's seat to apply the brakes..
Grab the 100# doumbbells in each hand a climb and descend a nice stairway
Do your hack squats with a barbell--i.e., reverse DL's
Change up the routine to force your body to change and get stronger. these activities are more functional-type activities, the body will adapt and get stronger when it is convinced it must gain functional strength.
