        I agree with nearly all of that. But for over all health and preventive measure. I feel that dropset, rest-pause, or supersets allow the person to work the muscle and not the connective tissue.

        But this has to be done in moderation. Overtraining is way to easy. I like to get in 1-2 superheavy sets followed by a few (1-2) BFT sets.

        Some guys are beast's. They can lift xxx amount of weight for numerous sets. So for those lucky few they can pound the weights.

        I know quit a few powerlifters who can really lift some weights. But for the other 23 hours in a day-- they are not impressive. With a shirt on they just look like a big ole farm boy.

        To clarify-- I am no expert. Just a normal guy with some medical college training and about a decade in the gym with no injurys-- minus a hernia. The people I've trained or helped get no injuries. But the people I train and myself don't lift as much as we could. At 210lbs lean I am please with my size, look, health, and strength.
