The Paniolo (Hawaiian Cowboy) Burger
1491043.png
We call this the Paniolo, because it has an island taste, and it is one of our all time favorite burger recipes. I like how this recipe adds a lot of moisture to the beef without adding fat. It's a great recipe that is good for you too. Try some gluten free buns, and you've got yourself one delicious, healthy meal.
You can eat it with normal burger fixings, BUT we like it with BBQ sauce and a slice of pineapple as the fixings in place of the standard ketchup, pickles, tomato and lettuce.
This is a stock picture...but it gives the idea...
Ingredients:
Two pounds of Skinny Beef Ground Beef
1/2 cup of Water
1/2 cup of Soy Sauce
Garlic Powder or Minced Garlic to taste (to your desired level)
Dried Onion Flakes or Chopped Onions (to your desired level)
Mix ingredients, add the ground beef, mix with the ground beef, make into patties and cook to medium on grill.
When serving, we found that using a slice of pineapple and using BBQ sauce instead of Ketchup makes for a fantastic island taste! Moist, delicious, and extremely low in fat. Good Stuff.
