FIST I hope you don't mind me making a thread in your section. But I'm interested to see if you have any homemade salad dressing recipe's. Simple to extravagant, doesn't matter. This Italian dressing kit we make at home is getting old quick lol. Wife is in need of a change too. Hidden Valley ranch is always good, but good on the unwanted things too. Thanks brother!

Re: Homemade Salad Dressings?
I use kens light ceasar dressing for everthing, salad steak chicken fish you name it i put it on or marinade with it. heres a link to the nutritional value not the best but not the worst it taste great.
i know this isnt salad but try it out. (ill post it since its salad dressing)
get some chicken breasts, put crushed black/red pepper on it both sides, poke holes in chicken with a fork (if desired). then put it in a bag and pour just enough of the kens dressing to cover the chicken completely. let it sit in the fridge for how ever long you like, the longer the better, try to mix the dressing and the chicken up every once in a while, then cut up 1 red pepper and 1 green pepper and 1/4 white onion into pieces and saute that adding salt and pepper as desired. and then chop the chicken up into little pieces and cook those on the stove until cooked. then throw the peppers and onions into the pan with the chicken mixing together for about 2-3 minutes or until everything is hot and cooked and ready to go and then serve! made it for the first time the other day and its amazing!! its cheap easy and fast to make and it tastes great.I never meant to be better than anyone, I was just born that way. Its hard being a god amongst peasants!

Re: Homemade Salad Dressings?
Last summer i used plain greek yogurt as a base and made some great dressings. Trader joes plain greek yogurt has almost no taste so it takes well when you add fruit, vinegar, etc..
The macros on some of the dressings i made were awesome. They way the yogurt spreads through salad its like using a ton of dressing even when your not.
Ones was:
Plain greek yogurt
Red wine or apple vinegar
Slice strawberries
I would put this on a salad with chix, almond, blueberries, strawberries.
Good stuff
