    3 lb bear or moose roast
    1 packet ranch dressing mix
    1 packet Italian salad dressing mix
    1 packet onion soup mix
    1 packet brown gravy
    1 cup red wine
    1 cup sliced mushrooms
    1 tsp thyme

    Place the roast in a crock pot and cover with water. Cook on high for 5 hours.

    Remove the meat and clean the crockpot.

    Spray the crockpot with non-stick spray.

    Place the roast back in the pot and sprinkle on the dressing mixes, soup and gravy mix. Add the wine.

    Add the mushrooms and sprinkle the thyme over the top.

    Cook on low 8 – 10 hours. depending on elevation best if cooked medium rare.

    Ive never had moose but I have had bear and love it.

    I will definitely be trying this out for certain.
