  • VENISON MEATLOAF

    I made some meatloaf with the buck i got in Nov. It came out awesome. I probably have 50lbs of burger. I need to start getting creative if ground meat!

    typo- with, not if

    FIST need to come up with a nice healther variation of venison meatloaf. I guess its not too bad, the meat is top notch bit i could improve on the bread crumbs,eggs, and ketchup i added.

      A bit on the drier side I would think? You can add uncooked oats too!

        Yes baby venison usually would be but my butcher adds 10% pork fat to make the meat more workable. Straight up ground venison is so lean it would turn to dust.

            I like the oats idea, or whole wheat bread crumbs would be a good sub.

                  50lbs of just burger. Nevermind the sausage, roasts and steaks.Going to have to get creative. I do give alot away to friends and family.too.

                    I usually get my hamburger made with to 30% beef and sausage with about 30 to 40% pork. We eat deer burger pretty much all year long. We cook it many different ways
