  • Peanut Butter Gelato

    Ingredients

    3 cups whole milk
    3/4 cup Sugar
    2 tbsp Corn Starch
    3/4 cup Simply Jif Creamy Peanutbutter

    Prep Time: 10 min Serves: 8
    Cooking Time: 20 min Yield: 4 cups

    1. Bring 2 cups of the milk to a simmer in a medium saucepan over medium heat, then remove from heat. Combine remaining 1 cup milk, sugar and cornstarch in a bowl, add to hot milk, and cook until sugar and cocoa dissolve and the mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.

    2. Set aside to let cool for 15 minutes and them wisk in the peanut butter. Cool to room temperature then cover and refrigerate overnight. Process mixture in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions
