Have had this for years. Worse in the summer. The itch is absolutely unreal. No rash, no redness, just itching beyond belief. Went to a lot of drs over the years and none of them knew what it was. Finally, was talking to some guy and he told me he had brachioradial pruritus and then described my situation to a T. I went and looked it up and thats when I finally had a name for what Ive dealt with for so long. Wonder if anyone has heard of it or knows anyone with this?
Brachioradial pruritus is a neurogenic itch syndrome of the upper extremities. It is typically localized to the skin on the dorsolateral forearm overlying the proximal head of the brachioradialis muscle, but involvement of the upper arms and shoulders is also common.
