So I had an entire week of bad eating and not being able to go to the gym. How much damage did I do? Im think of clean eating and low carb intake. I am 5'1 and weigh 110, wanted to get lean.feel like I have maybe 10lbs of fat that I need to work on. I'm sure that I have gained at least 5lbs during this past week. I do HIIT and weights any advice to get to my goal?
Your fine Mary it isn't going to hurt you bad a week of bad eating unless your doing a show and you this your last week. If you want to reach your goal just make sure your diet is right and your calories are where they should be. Eating IMO is 85% of the game. Just keep doing what your doing but judging by your height and weight your already small. I guess I would need to know more about your diet workout but just keep doing what your doing as long as your getting results. Good luck

For the most part is not the weight but wanting a flatter stomach ,more defined legs and butt. Now ive been doing more of the HIIT and less straight cardio. Should I have straight cardio days? I do have straight weight lifting days,
Dont get down about this, just get back on track. the weight that you feel you gained is most like;ly just water you are holding onto. For evry gram of (mostly) simple carb, we can hold onto 2gr of water. How many times a week do you wok out again? You are small, like me and we feel every pound we put on,lol. Also our hormones come into play and can make us hold water. Do you take a daily probiotic?
Also, if you want that nice butt and leaner legs....walking lunges, sqauats, ues the stairmaster. That really does help. when you work your legs, you are working large muscles and this is a good thing and why it gets ehausting. It is hard work but it pays off.

a week isnt really much time to really do damage. think of it this way; if you had done a week of 100 percent clean eating and great exercise, would you go around telling people you are now in shape? Well, a week of bad eating wont put you out of shape than. from personal experience, the first week of clean eating and added cardio will destroy any excess water weight and will shed a tad bit of fat. If your long term goal is to slim down and be the best that you can be, than keep up with the diet, cardio, weight training, supplementation, and sleep and always have that goal in the back of your head when you get cravings.
personally i like doing hiit cardio in the morning on an empty stomach, eating a few meals before I do some weight training, then doing another session of HIIT cardio.

I woulndt do HIIT 5 times a week though. Maybe 2 or 3 and then do some more steady cardio for a longer period of time. Yes cardio is good for burning fat but I think you need to focus more on your diet to achieve your goals in 5 weeks. Make sure you are getting adequate protein intake and the right amount of calories for your weight and activity level. Going crazy on the cardio may help you lose but it is not going to harden you up especially if the diet is off. You will still be thin and soft.
