how does it work? my show is comming up soon. was reading about how some ppl post show they start doing "reverse dieting" they keep their gains and look just as good... But they're eating ice cream and cereal. I'd like to read someones 2 cents about it. I was doing research but i cant seem to understand it. I know you have to count your macros and stuff... But i just dont get it if anyone knows anything please teach me.

I would like to hear about this, but somehow I dont think it would be a good idae to do. Perhaps it is the simple carb (sugar) load that helps? Maybe guns will chime in here

        Re: reverse deiting

Reverse dieting is nothing fancy it is just a nice name put to a basic concept. Basically as well know post show your metabolism is pretty low from long periods of diet and cardio. Basically it's just the concept of slowly adding a few hundred calories a week in and not just dumping a huge excess of calories on your body.

The ice cream is probably not part of reverse dieting and more so post show binge.

yea i cant imagine eating icecream ever to be beneficial when trying to look lean, otherwise i think we all would be WELL aware of it.

sounds to me like carb deplete with weekly carbload...i followed a cool approach one summer by dan duchaine where i carb depleted like going to a show and carbed up thurs thru sat like final week but did it every week for 4 weeks...i'd carb up on frosted cheerios with chocolate whey and skim milk...i was one sexy mf'er back then...rockin the hot pink posing trunks on myrtle beach with my girlfriend in her bikini right by my side

Idk this dude is super lean, claims he's natural "even tho that has nothing to do with the topic" and i swear he has for breakfast a protein cake with low fat ice cream. Im going to do more research into it i mean it seems to me its just like any other person would do post show and just have whatever they want but controlling it at the same time.
