No 150 carbs is not enough. Start at 300-350 and monitor your weight. If your gaining more than a couple of pounds a week your getting fat. And really 2 pounds is too much. Realistically a pound or pound and a half maybe is great
Ok great sounds good. I will start at 300 and add or take away some depending on how i feel what the scale says and how my body looks. You guys have helped me a lot and im glad youy guys cuaght the carb thing i would have been getting way fatter then i wanted and not known why lol. Thanks for everyone's help.

Bars are good but taste too good then they may be soy based so beware
i must not be doing math right. Im trying to add up all the protein and carbs and shit i need i thougt i cut out some carbs and i still ended up with almost 600 my protein came out to about 325 and my calories came out to about 4800 with protein shakes and dextrose includes. I need to look at this another day i have aa headache now lol fml

^ thats what it is. Ok thanks to colo (i owe this guy something i swear hes always helping me out lol) I have re looked at my shakes and im switching protiens from the weight gainer i was using back to syntha-6. This will keep me the same protein and calories as the weight gainer with half the carbs. So by switching that i have shaved off about 130g of carbs. Another 100g of carbs or so and i should be good. I think im done with diet today. tomorrow is another day lol.

BTW just to clear the record i know the difference between a weight gainer and protein supp lol the only reason i used the gainer is because i thought i was suppose to be around 600g of carbs vs the 300 or so i should be at.

Okay i did a little editing and shit this weekend and i got everything squared away to at least start. I think i have a great base to work off of. It will take me a few weeks to play around with eating times as well as what im eating how i eat it and so on but a few weeks i think i should be in good shape.
These are the numbers:
Calories from food: about 4,000 give or take about 300
Calories from protein shakes: about 1,000 give or take 100
Total fat: About 153 grams (rounded up a little)
Total carbs: About 360 grams (rounded up a little)
Total protein: about 400 grams (rounded up a little)
I know my protein is still a little high, I think i know hot to take that down a little as well. I will lower the carbs some to depending on how i feel and look once i start but im pretty happy now. thank you everyone for your help

Just one more question. How long can you refrigerate chicken, beef and fish without it going bad? I am not gong to have enough time to cook all this shit everyday. the only thing ill be cooking fresh everyday is breakfast. Would it be okay to cook everything i need for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and Monday on Tuesday? Or should i only cook for 2 or 3 days tops? I want to cook everything Tuesday and pack it in Tupperware for the week and put it in the fridge.

Freeze everything bud. It will last as long as you need it too. It may lose some flavor but its hella convenient. Also, your fat should prolly be under 100 grams and mostly get it from your meat sources. Unless others think differently. Just my .02
OK ill keep a day or 2 in the fridge and freeze the rest and take it out 1 or 2 days and so on. Shit idk how im going to get my fat down. Literally all my diet is is 1 egg meal 2 fish meals 2 chicken meals and 1 beef meal with rice and veggies. I would like to lower my cars by about 30 and my protein by about 50g. and now i guess my fat by about 50g but i dont want to lower my calories so i dont know quite how to do this

If you did a calorie split 40/40/20 then you would need 400 G protein 400 g carbs and 90 g fat. But I think 40/35/25 would be better with your bf being a little higher. So that would be roughly 400 g pro 375 carbs and 100 g fat.
General rule of thumb is 4 calories per gram of carbs and protein and 9 calories per gram of fat. If your eating whole food it's gonna be pretty damn close. Stay away from processed foods and its gonna be easier to figure out.
