Androgel?

Does anyone know anything about androgel?
a friend of mine was talking how he got a box of the packets from his dad who doesn't take it anymore. They say they have 50mg of testosterone usp per packet.
Should he just throw this away?

he showed me one and they are the 1% gel packets. there is like 50 grams of gel per packet holding 50mg of test usp.

Should he combine something with it? (lol i think im gonna make him start posting here)

ive used those, one a day got my test production up to 900/ng after 3 months of use, but that was several years ago. it will definitely get him a little more lively in the bedroom. i wouldnt throw them away, but i also wouldnt expect miracles from a trans-dermal product.

So using the packets daily, even him upping the dose to 150-300mg (3+ packets daily) wouldnt help him gain? I think that was his main question is if this is viable to boost growth.

the half life is similar to orals, its short, like 3 days, so i would not do a cycle based on that. this should be used mainly as a trt supplement or an addition to an injectable cycle like you would use test prop or dbol with a test e cycle.
