Who takes them? Which one, and wll you share what is has done for you? Please only post if you take them as I do not want this to be a debate about them being bad or good.

Zoloft. Shit works thats for damn sure. I went to some pretty dark places and this allowed me to continue going on. Was on it for about a year then decided it was time for me to take control of my life and not be dependent on anything. Aside from the initial period, I felt like I had total control. First week or two it made me so tired, but I got some of the best sleep in my life.

Doc said since I was bigger 50mg. That shit knocked me on my ass. All I wanted to do was sleep. I literately could not keep my eyes open. After talking to him about it he dropped me to 25mg for a few weeks to build up to 50mg. Smooth sailing.

I did not wean off and in fact didn't discuss it with my doctor. I just felt it was best for me. I've been great. 180 from where I was the previous year. A lot of it is also learning to control emotions and to take things in stride.

No weird side effects. I paid extra attention to how I was treating my wife and kids and it became the norm. Hopefully its all I need but I feel great even today.

                  Re: SSRIs

I have been on 25mg generic Zoloft(sertraline) for 6 months. It has literally helped me so much as I have suffered wth PTSD for years. I cannot believe how it has helped my anxiety too. I was very sleepy to at frst but that subsided. I do sleep better at night now too. I do not want to be on this to long but I think I may need too. For me it was not about controlling my moods or emotions. Thanks for sharing your experence.

C'mon, I know there are many people out there that have used these or are using them. This is not a bad thing to admit as ,many people have a chemical imbalance. Looking to hear some experiences
