I am going for back surgery on monday. I am getting a surgical decompression as well as removal of bone spurs pressing on my spine. 4 vertebrae are involved. I shall not be able to work out for about 4 weeks or so.

I can log something that will speed my recovery

5 days post op.
Some days I am sore as hell. I got 3 different narcotic pain killers and use. but rarely use them

Sounds like you are doing pretty good if you can avoid taking meds

that sounds ruff! take it slow, you will get back whatever gains quickly. i was out 8 months when i tore my pec tendon with surgery/rehab

we can motivate each other

I had 2 movements and that helped a lot with pressure. My gait is much smoother now than before surgery
