LONDON (Reuters) - Introducing laws banning smoking in enclosed public places can lead to swift and dramatic falls in the number of children admitted to hospital suffering asthma attacks, according to a study in England published on Monday.

There have been a gizzillion studies showing decreased hospitalizations for all sorts of things. They came out of N.Y.C. when Mayor Bloomberg first enacted the most comprehensive public smoking laws. ( As a ex New Yorker , I love the guy).
