  • Cutting diet including Olive oil??

    Current stats.......22yrs old......5'9".....185 pounds...12%bodyfat

Currently in week 4 of 75mg ed fina only cycle. Will run for another four weeks.

Now then. I have started a diet 3 days ago and I'm already dead.

    Goes like this.

meal one...7 egg whites, 1egg w/yolk....4 slices lean ham

    12 g's fat
    350 cals
    4 carbs
    50 protien

    meal 2....3 egg whites 1 w'yolk
    4 slices lean ham

    11g's fat
    250 cals
    4g's carbs
    32 protien

    meal 3....2cans tuna w' mustard

    2g's fat
    360 cals
    0 carbs
    60 protein

meal 4.....1 banana 1 hour pre workout

    NOT SURE NUTRITIONAL VALUE

meal 5.....2 cans tuna w/mustard 4 slices lean ham

    8g's fat
    475 cals
    4carbs
    75 protien

meal 6.....3 egg whites 4 slices lean chicken

    5 g's fat
    200 cals
    0 carbs
    30 protien

meal 7.....3 egg whites 4 slices lean chicken

    5g's fat
    200 cals
    0 carbs
    30 protien

    Totals...43 fat...277 protien..1825 cals....12carbs(minus banana)

Am I correct in saying i need more cals and carbs. Should I use olive oil and how much, I'm thinking I should add it to the tuna. Not sure how much though. I also want to be able to maintain if not build muscle. Please help with the olive oil issue. Please also critique. Again my goal is cutting and I have no efa's which is why i say the olive oil.

    THANKS

you def need more cals and carbs..........good sources of fat include olive oil, flax oil, natural peanut butter and CLA> a great fat for cutting....i see you mention most of your meat servings to be in slices???...if they are cold cuts, they are usually processed and loaded w/ sodium...you wont get lean eating that....the extra fat will help with extra calories....id def have more than 12 carbs....you need a decent amount of carbs in the morning and after your workout

Well then......Didn't even think to look at the sodium on the slices of meat.

      THANKS!!

One question, I'm obviously a newbie to a strict diet....What is CLA

Dont eat a banana pre workout, get a cell-tech type of post workout shake, with dextrose. If you low carbing, you need about 50 more grams of fat in there, and a bit more protein.
I eat at least 6 times a day to build my body

Hotstang, if slices of meat are high in sodium boil them for a few mins and that's all. You'll be cutting the sodium in half and keeping the taste. I do it to my ham all the time.
