BOSTON (Reuters) - A Massachusetts specialist pharmacy linked to a company at the center of a major health scare closed temporarily on Wednesday and a state regulator clamped down on such operations in the wake of a meningitis outbreak that has claimed a dozen lives.

Crazy thing is, last week I received my last shot in my back for my bulging disk and that night I was itching and had cold sweats and shakes. I was miserable for two days and the doc's swore nothing was wrong with the shot. After hearing this news I am paranoid.
Think the incubation period is weeks so watch for any symptoms especially a headache. I was dues for injections too but I will wait now.

hope everything turn out good bro....i knew the lady that died here in michigaan...well...i know her husband. and i have another former work friend that went to the same place getting the same shots. i will tell you this, the women that died, her husband was getting them from the same place at the same time!! so....seems it doesn't hit everyone
