  • What exercises do you do prior to competition?

Let's say you got a show in the morning. What type of exercises do you do to get a nice pump before going onstage?

prejudging is in the morning. that's what counts. and you want to pump whichever muscles are lagging to look as balanced as possible. all need to be warmed up, though. and i never pump legs. it smooths them out. how well you pump depends on how well you have re-carbed yourself. you have much to learn, grasshoppa..........
There is no substitute for experience......

Thanks for the tip. What do you mean about re-carbing?

most people who compete depelete their carbs even a little beyond what it takes to get their bodyfat down as low as possible. Then, starting on wednesday or thursday before a saturday competition we start introducing carbs back into our system. the muscles suck it up, fill back out (to a dgree) and the vascularity pops out. lots of theories on how this works. you will have to find out what works for you. keep posting, especially when you pick a show and decide to prepare for it. pm if you want. I'm no expert, but I have done a number of shows
