I am a little OCD with my waistline and my diet so wondering how you other guys handle your cheat meal. I time my cheat meal with my PPWO meal. I do this because my cheat meal is very carb heavy so try and time it when my body can use some carbs. I cut some carbs out of my regular PPWO meals and fill that in with about 600 calories or so majority of which are carbs. Maybe I over obsess with this but I'm curious if anyone else bothers this much over there cheat meal or what techniques you may use if any

Re: Cheat Meal Timing
I do the same and imo it's a great time to do so. My cheat meals are usually right after a leg workout. I know I've burned a lot of calories with this wo and the anabolic phase (within 45 mins of wo) is a great time to consume high-glycemic carbs. Im only a few weeks in on the return to the gym so Im having to re-read a lot of books bc education is parishable. I like your train of thought on this one.

Re: Cheat Meal Timing
I am getting ready to start a pretty serious cut, but I have a addiction to sweets. This may be a good way to have some sweets every few days. Right now, I'm on a 4500 calorie diet, so I pretty much eat whatever I want, when I want. Making big gains, but come April 2nd all that has to end.

Re: Cheat Meal Timing
mines easy to time... i have my cheat meal from 10am to 930pm. (i eat pretty clean in the morning!!) lol... when i was really zero'd in on it, i'd just have 1 good cheat meal, (pizza on friday night....family movie bight), a week. IF i did anymore it would be the meal immediately after workout.....HE WHO MAKES A BEAST OF HIMSELF, GET'S RID OF THE PAIN OF BEING A MAN!!

If I know I am going out Saturday I on Friday I go a little lower on cals and near zero carbs. Sat morning heavy weight training and keep it clean until I go out and apps and beers start flyin. Sunday at some point I pay for my sins on cardiovascular equipment of choice.
