    Hello my friends I have a friend that works out on the regular and just started a diet,I looked at it today and thought maybe u guys could help change it if needed,this is what she had writen down.


    meal 1-5eggwhites,1 slice non fat cheese
    meal 2-protein shake with 25 grams protein 0carbs
    meal 3-4oz chicken breast,1 head romain lettuce,2tbs non fat dressing
    meal 4- low carb protien bar
    meal 5-4oz fish,2 cups broccoli,1 cup sugar free jello
    meal 6-same as meal2-shake

        First off where is the fat? She needs at least 25g a day. Flax, and natty pb would be good. She needs some fiborous carbs, Throw in 1/2 cup of oatmeal in the morning, and mayeb some carbs post workout. A fiber supplement while on low carb is a must. If shes going Keto, then i guess no carbs, and just a fiber supp. Keto is hard for women, i know most women have a sweet tooth, and dont crave burgers and pizza, they crave sugary junk.

          Yeah, prolangtum I wonder why that is (girls and their sugartooth). And I agree, more carbs and more fat. I would say 25g of fat as a very bare minimun IF she is getting plenty of carbs and weighs like 110 or under. Fish looks good keep that, I say add natty pb to meal 2 and flax to 6.

          Overall cals are more important to fat loss than minimizing fat and carbs. So make sure she is eating less cals than she needs, but not drastically lower and she should be gravy. Also is she training with weights.

              need a starch in the morning, lunch, and rotate the evening meal

              2 low carb shakes sounds ok

              Looks like she may have to do a lot of cardio with this setup.
