  • Is r-ala available in Canada?

I had this originally posted on 'our' canadian side, so I am moving it here.

Just wanted to know about r-ala:
*Is it available in Canada and, if so, where
*What is the difference between regular ALA and R-ALA.

    Thank you.

Anabolicfitness.com ships r-ala, by MP Tech, to canada. There are several stores in canada that carry it(MP Tech r-ala), but you will pay more.

the difference in a nut shell is that r-ala is about 3 times as effective at glucose disposal. It is a MUCH better antioxident in a lot of tissues (tissues where the s-ala in the racemic mix often interferes).

MOST IMPORTANTLY r-ala lowers plasma insulin. normal or racemic ala DOES NOT.

I asked the same two weeks ago. I think that we have to wait a few years before we can get affroidable r-ala in Canada. I will presonally ask GNC to make it available. Even if they have expensive prices, it will cost cheaper than paying it in US founds and with the shipping.

Most people recommend to take it 3000mg ED.

Each count came with 100mg r-ALA. So that's 30 counts per day? Holy shit. How do you take those? 30 separate times or 3-4 times with 8-10 caps???

            r-ala

            300- 900mg a day

            900 is very high end

email sales@anabolicfitness.com they do have some retailers in canada.

Does that also mean that it is 3 times better at helping one staying in the fat burning 'mode'?
