this is the high-fructose corn syrup vid i was looking for. its very long (almost an hour and a half) and very in depth, but very convincing.

Robert H. Lustig, MD, UCSF Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Endocrinology, explores the damage caused by sugary foods. He argues that fructose (too much) and fiber (not enough) appear to be cornerstones of the obesity epidemic through their effects on insulin. Recorded on 05/26/2009.

Appreciate you posting this. I just got done watching the first 5 minutes and I can say that this Dr. is an excellent presenter and 89 minutes is not too much time to devote to this information. Hopefully I will find time to get through the entire presentation. "The fact is that we are all 25 pounds heavier than we were 25 years ago"..."Energy expenditure and the quality of life are synonymous"...Excellent!!!!
