  • Running to cut up, how much protein

ok so I have never dieted before or really tried to cut up but recently I have started running 4 miles a day in an attemp to and cut some of my eating as well. My question is, if trying to cut, how much protein do I take in the shake after my run, and how much in general without nullifying the running w calorie intake

So many diets to choose from. It's kinda hard to say without a more goal specific plan.

first of all, STOP running. running is horrible on the knees, there's better alternatives. eliptical, bike, treadmill with a fast walk (3-3.5mph) at a high incline.

as far as diet help, we'll need a little more info. like your current stats, and what your current diet is as of now.

lose any and all dairy, increase the protien to 2 grams per pound of bodyweight, i just had a cage fighter i train do this and he made weight with ease, running takes a severe toll on the system...jus my 2 cents...and oh, do hill sprints,or push a prowler, save some muscle.
