  • Breakfast or cardio????

Which is more important? Should I get up in the morning and go to the gym for cardio, or should I make sure I get a good breakfast? The problem is that I only have time for one or the other. I am trying to lose bodyfat while keeping as much lean muscle as possible.

you gotta have breakfast...period! you can manipulate your training to turn your workouts to more fat burning, but you can substitute breakfast for anything

        That is a great idea!!!

I would not skip breakfast though, to do cardio. Fuzo never eats breakfast and I have been making him breakfast for the last 2 weeks and he has dropped 7lbs! I can not say for sure if that is the reason, but because he is getting a good breakfast, he is eating better throughout the day.

That is kind of what I figured. When I get up and go to the gym, by the time I get back home, I barely have enough time to get ready and leave for work. And I don't think I can get up any earlier. I was thinking about getting up early in the morning and cooking a good breakfast. Then worry about cardio later.

I get home around 4 in the evenings. I hit the gym around 6. Would it be bad to do HIIT as soon as I get home? I don't think it would take away from my workout since it wouldn't take 30 minutes and I have a 2 hour window before the gym. What do you guys think?

do both. if your breakfast is something like egg whites or along those lines, cook it the night before, throw it in the fridge, wake up, have a 20-40g shake, do your cardio, come home, nuke the shit you made the night before, then blamo! there's always a way.
