  • Creatine loading

    I have been reading about it and I think I am going to do that starting tomorrow. It says take 20g per day for 1 week. Then 10g per day for weeks 2-4. Then off weeks 5-8. Anyone ever done it like this?

    IMO I WOULDNT LOAD UP ON CREATINE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GAIN ALOT OF WATER WIEGHT. YOU WONT FEEL GOOD WITH ALL THAT WATER.

        I did that back in the day a coupla times, now I take 10 to 20 grams. 10 on days off 20 when im really going at it, three hours of kempo and then the gym for a couple. I dont see any need to pre load if you're going to be taking it for any length of time.
        Leaders did what others weren't willing to do, now they enjoy the things that others do not.

          Your body cannot metabolize 20 g of creatine and will just pass it thru your urine. The first several days it will bloat you with water though, but after that it is simply a waste imo. I have been taking creating since it came out and I find the best results are 5-10g on workout days and 5 on off days. I sometimes load to get it to kick in some weight gains faster but it is really just water retained in your muscles. However, I feel that helps me with strength due to the cushion effect on the muscles allowing me to press more weight.

          10-20g ed for 5 days, then 5g ed for remainder, bump it to 10g on workout days if you wish but I am not sure it is effective.
