A guy in town is a trainer for a couple of local bodybuilders and I was asking him a few questions about jumpstarting a diet. He mentioned that when someone who was previously IN shape falls OUT of shape after a layoff...sometimes you have to shock your system for a short time with diet. He says it's only for 21 days, and then a standard bodybuilding diet can cut just fine. The following is what he has his experienced clients do, and I was curious about what your feedback would be to this?
9am: 1 cup oatmeal
12p: 2 chicken breast, 1 cup brown rice
4pm: 2 scoops protein
7pm: 1 pc. fish, greens
***1 gallon water/day with lime and of course standard supps. w/out any fat burner at this point***He says to stop eating at this point (including protein) so that the am workout will potentially burn more fat. He says he's had his clients do it for years, but only if they are already custom to the dieting and lifestyle.
***Seems a bit low in calories for someone like myself, but I am always open to admitting that there are many ideas out there new to me. Below are my stats...any input would be appreciated. Thx, Shiner
