    You can always modify the workouts to fit your fitness level, as those workouts were made for a more intermediate to advanced level. As is the diet, but you can modify is as well. You can change things to be more comfy for you. Remember the whole idea is to find something you will stick with and won't be struggling to do. Or you'll never make any progress. Its all a mind set game, and your body, as well as your mind will play tricks on you trying to get you to leave things just the way they are, it likes to be in charge, rather than let YOU take control of things!~
    So just ask yourself, "How Bad DO I WANT THIS?" AS well as how will this help me to be living a healthier more beneficial life? Oh and lets not forget that golf game~

      Remember you should never consume calories less then 10x your body weight, or you risk the chances of metabolic melt down/!! eg. 200lbs x 10=2000 calories.
