    well guys as most of us can agree on pwo nutrition is some of the most important food that you take in all day. from my understanding most people do about 40 grams carbs and about 50 grams protein. At least this is what i do. Heres my question and thought. Since you have a nice 1 hour window to really shove nutrition into your muscle. What do you guys think about having your carbs and then mixing up a shake that's between 100-150 grams of protein, then immediately getting down about 1/3-1/2 of that and drinking the other half like a normal drink over the next 30 or so min. To me it seems that you could really slam a lot of nutrients into you muscles by doing this. Let me know what you guys think about this?

    i dont know that, that can all be prcessed. there's different opinions about that as well....i dont know.

      im thinking some of it might go to waste but im wondering if the amount that is wasted would be out weighed by the amount that is being slammed into your muscles

        I normally have a protien drink while exiting the gym(50+- grams of protien)then when I'm at work or back at the house- I have a decent breakfast- 2cups oatmeal- 1 bannana- glass of milk. I have a snack abbout 30 mins after that normally granola bar and continue to eat every 2-3 hrs after- Trying to keep a continueous flow of nutrients coming in.

          I think the carbs and protein should be split up
