  • Leaning Out

    Hello to all,

Recently my wife and I had a baby and the two of us (mine was more sympathy weight) naturally put on some extra weight. Currently, I'm sitting at 235 and 21%. Which obviously isn't going to cut it. Even though winter is just around the corner, I have no desire to add some lean mass over the winter. My wife is obviosly leaning out and doin it well I might add. But I have decided to do it with her and maybe keep each other motivated.

My question is that I'm looking for a Very simple diet plan that I can adhere to on a very busy schedule. Below you will find my routine, and I was just wanting some advice from others, before I go back to the same ol' diet. Thanks in advance...

    Mon, Chest
    Tue, Back
    Wed, Quads & Calves
    Thur, Shoulders
    Frid, Arms
    Sat, Hams & Calves
    ***Abs, EOD***

    Cardio: HIIT monday, wednesday, friday
Cardio: 60 min on "9" incline steady walk Tuesday, Thursday

Thanks for any help...I suppose that the same old diets get old after a while. Oh yes, and I won't be able to check this until Monday, as my T.V. will be on ALL DAMN DAY!!! After all there is a little something called FOOTBALL on tomorrow ...thanks, Shiner

I think the exercise is mapped out well, just depends on your diet. Good luck!

Your training looks on point. As for diet, just eat meat and vegetables with very low carbs. Eat 6 meals per day spread out every 2-3 hours.

First you need to decide wither to use carbs or fat as fuel. If you add too much of one then the other will be stored as fat. If you don't get enough of one or the other, you'll body's metabolism will stall out. You won't loose any more weight.

Do you know your daily caloric intake? Break that up into small meals... example 5-6 meals.

If you are going with low carbs/low fat. Then you might want to do a carb rotation. This will keep your body from stalling out, and it will give you a carb loading day to re-feed your body. You start off high and lower your carbs each day. Your re-feed day can be done one of two ways. With clean carbs using the same amount of carbs as you started with or using it as a cheat day or meal. This is were you can tweak it depending on your body's needs.
