  • Low Carbs need help soon!!

Hey guys, I started a low carb diet a few days a go and basically all it is, is chicken or steak depending what I feel like cooking that day, lots of water, and like 2 pieces of whole wheat bread with some turkey. I am trying to get cut down in a few weeks, which is probably unrealistic but I want to do as best as I can. The problem is, I am feeling extremely weak and tired. Tonight I tried playing some basketball and within a matter of minutes I was way too tired and could not continue if I wanted to. Please let me know whats good to add into a low carb diet so I dont feel like this the next few weeks. Thanks guys!!

You should also cut bread because of high GI. Most carbs shoud come from green veges. You can ad some carb after workout (20g)

Unless it's a strict ketogenic diet, then I would suggest adding carb ups like once a week or so depending on how low your bodyfat is (lower the bodyfat, the more often the carb up).
Also what's your fat intake like, because if you are lowering your carbs that low (which is unecassary IMO) then you should be concentrating on getting a good intake of EFA's and fat calories in general.

my muscles work better on carbohydrates, i don't givva damn what anybody says. fat calories just don't translate into training performance for me. getting lean means cutting sugars, and getting my fats from EFA's only, pretty much. i could drink a quart of olive oil a day and not have strength to wipe my butt

Hydroxycut has given me so much energy. You should try eating more foods which will increase your glucose. Without that your brain won't function properly and you'll feel fatigued. Good luck!

Bro, screw the diet, get huge and shredded wih Cell-tech, Nitro Tech and Hydroxycut

in all seriousness though, like it was already said, i'd ditch the bread, maybe have like a half cup or less of oatmeal in the morning and then your remaining carbs post workout, how many total grams of carbs or you limiting yourself to per day?
