    Re: Favorite multi?

Ok T-Man007, I tried the vitamin test. Here's the picture of two different multi's after 24 hours in water. Which one looks like a better multi? BTW thanks for the info

            Re: Favorite multi?

            Whurston,

Very interesting. The study I seen done, and I forget how long they left it, said that the one that actually rotted would be the one the human body absorbed. They used a lot less water than you did, but I didn't specify that. lol

It was very interesting (the one I saw) because the multi made from whole food eventually got rotten, like real food would do. The other, did nothing but settle on the bottom. The conclusion was, if the multi rots, then the human body can absorb it. It look like one of your broke down really well and the other is stuck together still. The true test will be to watch them still and see if they both end up settled on the bottom. If only one is settled at the bottom, then that's the one you DON'T want.

I'm glad you took the time to try it out. There are a lot of things we can learn by little experiments like this which give us first hand knowledge of things. Let me know if they are still in water and if both ended up settling. And let us all know which ones they were so that the members know which to NOT but if they aren't going to be absorbed.

Well, the one with the green colored water is some generic multi from walmart. The one that got all fluffy was universal animal pak. They are still in the water lol. Both are settled on the bottom but one looks like granules of some kind(walmart) and the other looks like wet bread(universal). I will try again with less water and see what happens.

If the one that looks like wet bread begins to rot, then that's the good one. The test I saw was one in very little water and over time it looked like food when it begins to go bad and rot.

So far it looks like universal animal pak is a good vitamin. I am just surprised they don't boast "whole food nutiritional value" on thier website.

I've taken MegaMen's for years, but lately I've been using Spirulina 2-3 times per day and have been feeling great, better than I ever did taking multi's.
