  • ok people !!

    i have been reading, studying and damn researching... lol so many dif ideas etc
    so what does everyone do after a workout as far as food, shake, supplements u take and when ?
    If bigger is better then im better than ever !

    I'm usually done working out around 7pm and I just drink 3 scoops of 100% Whey by ON if I'm cutting. But if bulking I'll drive to Chic-fil-A (10 minutes away) and eat 2 chicken sandwhiches, no fries right after my shake.

      whey/carb drink, then i have a wholefood meal about 45mins later.

          I'll pound a shake w/ a bananna. I've been using Healthy n' Fits' 100% Egg protein w/ zero cholesterol, and All the Whey with maby 8mgs.
          Leaders did what others weren't willing to do, now they enjoy the things that others do not.

            It all depends on my day. If I'm going to another appointment, then I will go grab Samurai Sams which has grilled steak or chicken with rice and Tereyaki (sp) sauce. But, if I'm going back to the office, then I will usually do a shake. I prefer the shake because of the quick absorbtion. A whole food meal is going to take a while to actually break down and get into the blood stream so the muscles are just waiting and waiting for nutrients.
            I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

              2 scoops optimum whey chocolate, one banana, 4 strawberries and 40 grams dextrose with skim milk, blended with some ice and your good to go. comes out to 50 protein, 100 carbs. I eat this everyday post-workout except off days.

                1 serving Spirulina before workout, 2-3 scoops whey post workout, hearty meal an hour or so later.

                    The Golds Im at has a juice bar for shakes and stuff so they blen it up special!! Cost about 3 bucks and I get a free on every friday so its nice. Then Im on the road. Works out perfect!!

                      Ok, I'll admit,..and not to one up y'all. but once a week after class, I'll reward myself with a carne asada burrito at Muchas Gracias. I jus love the unlimited lil sliced carrots, jalapeno's, and cilantro you can get on the side too.

                          It varies... but usually it's 50/50 dextrose/maltodextrine and whey protein in a 2/1 ratio.

                            after workout.. 2 scoops..of ON %100 whey.. in 12oz water.. then right away..5 grams of glutamine...right after maltodextrin..28grams of simple carbs..

                              JUST A GOOD OLD FASHION PROTEIN DRINK RTD 50 WORKS FINE.
