  • What do you think about my MRP?

    Ok so I decided to try to make my own MRPs so I would know whats going into them and they're cheaper. Im trying to keep lean/add muscle/ lower body fat at the same time. I drink this 1st thing in the morning and when I get home from work. Sometimes I throw in one minus the carbs before bed.

    1.5 scoop whey or whey blend (been rotating) -22-26 g protein each scoop
    4-6 organic eggs (raw) -read tons of articles/ read testamonials about this and I think its ok to consume raw eggs
    2 tablespoons of either natty pb or olive oil
    1 cup instant oats
    1 banana
    1/2 cup 1% milk
    1 tablespoon honey
    1/2 cup no fat organic, live culture yogurt

    Tell me what you think.

      doesn't sound very appetizing. make sure its either a protein/fat or protein/carb MRP. if its protein/fat/carb ridden, you can kiss trying to lean down goodbye.

        Really? Maybe b/c I drink them I know how good they are. Seriously its damn good.

        So how do I rotate the protien/carb shakes and the protein fat shakes?

        I figured I needed some carbs protein and fat in the morning to get me going.

        Oh crap and if I put eggs in my shakes thats fat right? So I cant use oats/whey and eggs for a morning shake?

          Inkman used to make MRP's kinda like that, except with flax oil i think. He swore by them for putting on the mass. I like the Lean Mass Matrix ones and also the Met-RX.

              I think the answer to your question depends upon your schedule and when you lift...

                Well Im really liking the raw eggs thing. I can cut down all mixing of fats and carbs except for my 1st mrp (I just think I function better when I have a good serving of carbs and protein in the mornings) of the day which is now like this:

                6 organic eggs -raw
                3/4 cup oats -before cooking
                1 bananna
                1/2 cup FF milk
                handful of raisins
                1.5 scoops of whey
                1/2 cup FF organic yogurt

                So the only fat in that shake are from the eggs. Maybe I should only use whites?

                  Hey crombie have you tried "Best of the egg"? its pasteurized and better on the arteries. Safeways got it.

                    go with just the egg whites and/or egg beaters. i use both, egg beaters and whites.
