Ok I decided to go ahead and make my own meal replacement shakes. Seems like there are so many out there and I'd like to know whats going into what Im consuming. Plus its cheaper.
I was wondering though what I should use for protein....will good ol whey cut it or should I get a blend? Anyone reccomend a product?
Very simply, try them both and see. usually, the soy gives me the nasty poopsies. So I prefer whey protein. The board sponsors have good protein products.

Soy? Yeah I havent heard many good things about soy. I was refering to blends that have whey, egg protein, cassienate or however you spell it and other forms of protein.

ive always used whey when makin homemade weight gainers or meal replacements, ive used cassienate sometimes at night, I never noticed much difference from the two. All i know is the mixed tend to be more pricy

I had a hard time finding a good protein i liked and didn't bloat the shit out of me and give me the shits. All the Whey's whey protein blend worked for me and i've been using it since. Blends instantly and no cramping or bloating (wait maybe that was from my period?) and tastes great too.
