  • No Xplode

    by BSN...

I'm getting my supplement order together and was thinking of giving No Xplode a run as my main creatine supplement.

Is it worth a shot or is it just an overhyped supplement?

I would think that your money would be better spent on juice or a side of beef. I see most supplements as just to replace the protein and calorie deficiencies we have due to rushing around and being busy.

          Re: No Xplode

Nox from BSN isn't a creatine supplement, it doesn't really even supply you with enough creatine to be effective. If you are looking for a pre workout formula, that isn't a very good one, ecspecially for the price. For a creatine supplement, you need to get an ester, they are more effective and you don't get the retention. If you are looking for a pre workout supplement though, I would probably go with PMD Pump fuel or Gaspari Nutrition Superpump 250. Those two have the best profile and best bang for the buck. BSN is comparable to Muscletech, overpriced and overhyped!!

Ya have to keep a coule things in mind, first being not everyone on here juices. Many of us do, but for those that don't, we shouldn't push them in that direction. Second, supplements are a great way to keep motivated during your off cycles. If you are still shelling out a bunch of cash on supps, that is pretty good motivation to get the best results possible.

You're probably right about being invested in a program, but I would say a better investment for non-juicers would be a side of beef and a small freezer, if they have the time to prepare it. With a full freezer you are committed to eating all that beef!

I agree for the most part. I've never really went crazy on the supplement end of things...mainly MRP's, protein powders, ephedra/caffeine, and creatine...

I was contemplating giving the NoX a go because it's a pre-workout supplement as I'm trying to slowly ween off the ephedra/caffeine stimulatory type pre-workout supplements (as I don't think it's entirely healthy *what's health got to do with bodybuilding anyhow? LoL* as I use them more than I should).

Maybe I'll give the Met-rx Amped a go instead and just buy regular ole' pure creatine as well. It's never let me down before...

                  Thanks for the opinions...

                    Re: No Xplode

Ive tryed the NO-Xplode and imo comparared to AMPED there is no comparison, but i hear some ppl like the Xplode, so maybe it works on some. I didn't like the asprin taste either. What i do is 4 pumps of Albuterol about an 1hr b4 working out and then take the AMPED with me to drink while at the gym. Sure get great pumps that way, lol! Ive heard of the Gaspari, but i never tried it. Ill have to look into it.

                        Re: No Xplode

NO Xplode seems to work well for many people as a pre-workout energy and cell volumizing drink. For some people, it can be hard on their stomach.

Someone above mentioned Cell Mass by BSN. I think if you compare that to CVM Xtreme, you will find that CVM is a much better value and also a more effective product.

                        CVM Xtreme:
                        Supplement Facts
                        Serving Size: 1 heaping scoop
                        Servings per Container: 50
                        Amount per Serving
                        CVM (Cell Volumizing Matrix Blend)
                        DiCreatine Malate 3g
                        Creatine Ethyl Ester Malate 2g
                        Betaine Anhydrous 2g
                        Taurine 2g
                        2:1 DiArginine Malate 1.5g
                        Glucuronalactone 1g
                        Glycocymine 500mg
                        Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) 100mg
                        Vitamin B3 (Niacin) 50mg
                        Folic Acid 200mcg
                        Vitamin B12 125mcg

Also, we have HPLC reports on our website to verify the quality of the Creatine Ethyl Ester Malate in CVM Xtreme.

                        Hope that info helps.

I definately agree with ya rage, it is always the key and is the best investment you could make in a program. I just think people often overlook the supplement side of things and just stick to AAS and protein powders. Things like preworkout formulas, multi vitamins, NO2, and even phytonutrient powders are overlooked in the programs. My cycles are usually the easiest part because I know what works and what doesn't by now. It's figuring out the rest of the program that is difficult, and it is definately pricey, but worth every penny I spend!!!
