  • Trying to perfect the diet.

I have a few questions about my cutting diet. I know this is a ton of questions but I've been really liking my progress and Im getting kinda obsessed with doing everything correctly.

    1. Muscle Milk, I have been taking it every morning when I 1st get up with some glutamine. Should I continue it or just use my low fat/ low carb whey isolate protein instead? Its so good.

    2. Not mixing fats and carbs. My 1st real meal of the day is always 6 whole egglands best eggs and some good carbs like whole wheat toast or oatmeal. Now is this bad b/c Im mixing fats from the eggs with carbs? If so an alternate suggestion would be cool.

    3. Brown rice and black beans. Heard this is really healthy. I live alone and make a ton of food once a week and then eat it so I eat about the same thing ed. This would be in 2 of my meals daily with a chicken breast or two. Good?

    4. Post workout shake with malto and dex. I take my 50g whey isolate with 25g dex and 25g malto. Seems like I remember someone saying to cut the malto on a cutting cycle?

    5. Getting enough good fats and when. This is my current diet about everyday. I know Im not eating enough real meals but Im going to try to get more in.

    1- muscle milk and water
2- 6 whole eggs and 2 whole wheat toast or cup oats
    3- post workout shake
4- chicken/ rice or another good carb and broccoli
    5- same as 4
6- 50 g whey isolate (soon to be changed to Micellar Casien)

Sometimes will throw another whole meal in there but just havent been eating much lately like I stated above. Maybe the ECA I was taking but I dropped that b/c I wasnt liking the sides.

    2. Not mixing fats and carbs. My 1st real meal of the day is always 6 whole egglands best eggs and some good carbs like whole wheat toast or oatmeal. Now is this bad b/c Im mixing fats from the eggs with carbs? If so an alternate suggestion would be cool. put some cheese on the eggs to give it a lil more fat and drop the toast/oatmeal...no carbs except PWO!

    3. Brown rice and black beans. Heard this is really healthy. I live alone and make a ton of food once a week and then eat it so I eat about the same thing ed. This would be in 2 of my meals daily with a chicken breast or two. Good? nope. if anything, i'd say the beans would be ok. they have protein BUT they also contain fiber which cancel out a few g's of carbs, and they also have fat too. so, a very small amount if you absolutely had to have something to eat with your chicken. save the protein/carb meals for bulking, not cutting. ditch the rice.

    4. Post workout shake with malto and dex. I take my 50g whey isolate with 25g dex and 25g malto. Seems like I remember someone saying to cut the malto on a cutting cycle? thats fine, just bump the dex and malto up to 50g each. so you're totalling 100g PWO, on top of 50g of whey.

    5. Getting enough good fats and when. This is my current diet about everyday. I know Im not eating enough real meals but Im going to try to get more in.

overall, you could use more whole meals. just be creative, within reason. you cook your food for the week, thats cool. only food i cook for the week is lunch food so i can take it to work. i'll cook the meals at home for dinner. its all about convienence. you have to actually sit down and outline when its conveinent to eat. you have to ask yourself "can i really eat 6 or 7 times per day? do i have access to a microwave to warm my food up? would it be an inconveinience to co-workers if i took an extra 5-10 minutes out of the day to stuff my face?" just some things to ask yourself. i'm not overcomplicating diet, just the reality of things.
Hey, I never saw a skinny bodybuilder before - eat away!

i think you need more cals, quality cals. if you really want to cut you need to rev up your metabolism with good whole foods. that can't be more than 2500 cals total; not enough IMO for your body type. with that few meals and cals you are basically telling your body that it will only get so much so often, so it is most likely going to store everything you eat.

i would say to get your cals up around 3500-4000. as long as you are eating clean, doing cardio, and training hard you should lose about 1-2 pounds a week.

plus, didn't you say you were using dbol, deca, and test? it's going to be hard to cut on those from the water retention and fat you will get from the aromatization. i think you said you were going to start some winny so that will definitely help... but estrogen will make it hard to lost fat and water.
so fresh and so clean clean

I dont know man. No carbs except for post workout, I'd turn into a super asshole not to mention, low carb makes me all flat. I just cant start my day without carbs, I would be all lathargic.

Black beans only have .5g fat so I dont think thats a big deal

100gs of carbs with my post shake!! Holy crap I can barely get down 50 now its so sweet.

Seems like all I do lately is eat at home and worry if Im doing everything correctly, this sucks.

Ok I'll try to eat more. Do you have any suggestions for extra cals? I pmed you a while back about how you have your diet set up without mixing carbs and fats and would like to see what you eat daily. If you have time that would be awesome. Yeah I just finished up with the dbol and now Im on test and deca, will be adding winstrol in 3 weeks.

sure man, that pm must have gotten deleted, sorry.

the test and deca is going to make you retain water... so keep that in mind.

here is my diet; it's pretty much the same every day.

              1- 8 jumbo eggs, 2 whole 6 white
              16 oz. sugar free juice
              1 cup oats
1 scoop "whey stack" pp from champion nutrition
              2 cups water

              2- 8 oz. turkey breast
              8 oz. sweet potato
              4-6 oz. mixed veggies

              3- 8 oz. tuna steak
              8-10 oz. chick pea salad
              8 oz. green beans

              4- 8 oz. turkey breast
              8 oz. sweet potato
              4-6 oz. mixed veggies

              5- 7 oz. tuna

              1/2 avocado
large mixed greens salad w/balsamic vineagrette

...this works out to about 4000 cals/day and i keep getting leaner as the weeks go on. i have a cheat meal on sat and sun as well.

              4000 cals +/- a hundred or so

oh, didn't see your other questions.

i drink sugar free juice because i try to only have sugar in my PWO shake.

the one cup of oats is dry. i use the instant kind in the cylinder. i put it in the blender with the water and pp. tastes like chocolate oatmeal.

and the flax oil doesn't cause me indegestion, unless you are really sensitive i wouldn't worry about it bro.
