  • New Here w/ Question

Hi, great board. I would have posted sooner, but my wife and I had our first child awhile back, so I have been busy with the little guy.

My ques. is he has just begun to walk and he's unsteady and i was wondering if i could feed him some crude (baby protein) protein in his bottles to strengthen his muscles so hes more balanced to hold himself up and walk. i dont know if anyone is a baby nutrition expert lol but thanks for the help.

    Sublime.

Umm....crude protein isnt baby protein my friend. Crude protein is found in animal foods (birdfeed, squirrel feed, etc) dont get crude mixed up with 'soft' or pre-digested proteins, those are baby proteins. Second, babies dont struggle to walk because of weak muscles or underdeveloped muscles, their neurological system has yet to develope mylinated axons for nerves. These are sheaths that cover the axon of nerves to utilize signals carrying to another level. Once your baby developes the axons, the signals with be sent more effectively to the muscle fibers, leading to more advanced 'on your feet' skills and walking.....

Congrats. on the baby by the way.
