Re: Red meat everyday?
Actually red meat has been linked to colon cancer. I was doing research on it. I will not be eating it anymore other than chicken, ocean fish etc. If i were to eat it, i would only get certified organic, from cows raised on free range farms. Of course i don't see a big harm in eating it off and on like i mentioned, but everyday?? There is a big difference between shooting aas and ingesting it. This is just my thoughts and in what i am doing.

I just thought red meat had a lot of good stuff in it and it would be good while Im trying to lean bulk.

Re: Red meat everyday?
I'm not a fan of red meat (especially hamburger).... I prefer white.
I read an article about the same thing Mick....it stated a study found that high consumption of red meat, which was defined as I believe three or more ounces daily for men and two or more ounces daily for women, led to an increased risk for colon and rectal cancers.Last edited by McKenzie; 05-20-2006, 02:55 PM.

Mck is right as well. Im not saying i wouldn't eat it ever, and it doesn't matter what cut of meat it is red meat is red meat period. I doubt i would never eat it again, but i will only eat it once in a great while, and only certified organic. I personally would not consume it every day for sure. Im basically only going to eat natural farm raised chicken, ocean fish, and eggs as a source of whole food protein. Of course i will eat soy product and other legumes.

Atta girl Lily,....I gotta have my grilled kabobs, carne asada, New Yorks etc. probally three or for times a month though if that,..mostly I grill salmon, steelhead, trout, grouse, pheasant, chukkar, wild turkey, duck, chicken or venison (elk or blacktail), buffalo is comming back here also. All kinds of protein rich goodies besides bovine. Wild game, whether fish, poultry, or venison really rocks especially when cooked outside with a coupla' cold ones over a wood fire.
