  • I made my own sushi

Sheeesh that was good and so much cheaper than the premade stuff. I just got a lb of salmon from the store, some jasmine rice, low sodium soy sauce, white rice vinager and some wasabi. I just made the rice and added some rice vinager and put large pieces of salmon over it. I never eat rolls anyhow just sashimi. Im going to make this a part of my regular diet for sure. I was scared it wasnt going to be as good as going out to a restaurant but it was, even better actually b/c I used a lot more fish than they do.

Sushi, is the shiot.... But in the restaraunts its to damn expensive to get enough to make me full..
The best fish you can get is being offshore fishing about 100 miles or so and catching a big yellow tail and eating it right there....

Nope just raw salmon. Dont think its the right kind of rice but I was in a hurry yesterday and couldnt find the sushi rice. The stuff I used though is an oriental rice. Why are you guys talking about seaweed? Those are for rolls. I dont like/eat rolls. I only like sashimi. Its a larger piece of fish on top of a balled up (or whatever they do to it) piece of rice. I think the sashmi is a lot better for you.
