In Arnold's encyclopedia, he mentions that it is better for an endomorph (when trying to become more lean) to continue gaining muscle mass for an extended time. He states that because muscle burns so many calories, once a significant amount of muscle has been added, it makes it much easier to burn fat and become more lean.
My question is whether or not you have found that to be the case.....Thanks, Shiner

i have always heard that if you're above 15% body fat, diet first. If you can get to 10-12% range so when time comes to add mass and you add alittle fat back on you won't end up in the high teens. If you bulk above 15% fat gains will be greater.when ya go over 15% you develop insulin resistance which causes calories to go into fat stores more readily. Keeping body fat levels below that may be helpful.
