  • Post workout shake on non workout days?

I've been adding 25g of maltodextrin and 25g of dextrose into my 50g protien shakes I drink on non training days I have 2 ed and they're in between regular meals.

My post workout shakes have 50 g of each malto/dex/protien.

Im thinking doing this is kinda like a meal replacement. Is that correct? Is this good for me?

I personally leave the dextrose and maltodextrin for only post workout. Never inbetween meals. Instead, I'll down a protein shake and have some oats, sweet potatoes, brown rice, etc...

I don't see any need for high glycemic carbs except for post w/o

true it is a meal replacement in the sense that you are getting multiple macronutrients, hower I wouldn't call it healthy or necessary.

I suggest adding oatmeal and/or natural peanut butter
