Just wondering what everyone eats when they are trying to bulk. How many times? How many servings? How much do you gain on the average a week when on that routine?
Hmmm....just eat everything in site bro. I can eat a snickers bar and gain 5lbs!!! If you are trying to not gain much fat then do the usual 2grams of protein per pound of bodyweight plus lots of carbs. I eat rice for 2 days for lunch and dinner and I'll gain 5lbs.
yeah but what are you guys eating? How much per meal? How many meals? don't just say eat alot because that's about as vague a statement as you could get....
myself..i ate a lottttttttttt of shit, from good food to bad food...yes it's expensive likle young said....6-7 meals a day and at nite time, i usually drink those 3000calories shake b4 bed time, beside my normal food that i eat daily
Well I'll start off saying I tried the clean bulking routine and that failed miserabley. Gained just a few pounds my whole cycle. But had to try.
I'm deffinitly a hard gainer. I was 145 lbs at 27 years of age, got to 170 naturally now i'm pushing 210.
This cycle I'm eating anything and everything, All I worry about is total protein intake and total calorie intake.
Right now I'm getting right around 5000 cals a day but tring to add a few hundred more now. It's hard to get that much in, let alone clean forget.
Breakfast I eat 5 eggs with cheese and ham, a bowl of oatmeal and a half a shake to get my protein where I want it.
Midmorning I eat a homemade weightgainer shake, granola bar, beef jerky and a chunk of cheese.
lunch is a chicken breast, banana, yogurt, cottage cheese, mixed nuts
Midafternoon is about the same as midmorning.
postworkout shake
supper steak potatoe veggies, as an example, Have many different supper combos.
before bed more cottage cheese, casein shake with flax.
All the meals vary from time to time and I'm not afraid to through some fast food in there for more cals.
Getting lots of cals has made a world of difference for me this time, I just eat and eat and eat. And I haven't hardly put any extra fat on either with all these cals.
If your a hard gainer eat anything. lol
Yeah I was on a schedule for two years and went from 135 to 200lbs. Then I dieted down to the low 180's to get rid of the gut. Now I'm trying to gain but forgot how I did it last time. That's why I'm asking you guys because I needed a back to basics idea of what people were doing.

BTW, what is flax good for? Is that the same as taking omega 3, 6 pills?
Flaxoil is good for omega 3, yes And I like it night because it helps slow the digestion process for a slow release throughout the night. Plus it adds a few extra cals to the shakes. I'm not sure how many cals the pills contain.
