  • would ephedra be a good idea?

im starting to get back into shape again (weightlifting, HIIT cardio, and diet) and was thinking about taking ephedra since i have heard it melts the fat off. im not looking for a miracle drug here i know it takes a lot of work and all that good stuff which i am prepared to do i just would like a little boost. i am almost 20 so do you think that means anything? also do you have any reccomendations of brands or where to get it?

i do not know that much about the product at this time and would like to do a bunch of research before i use it but so far the only problems i have found with it is when it is abused (like everything else).

cliffnotes: i need a noobs guide to ephedra

My opinion is no. First off, you are only 20 and you should be in good enough shape to do the necessary cardio to dut fat. Second, Ephedra does not melt fat off. Yes, it is a thermogenic but it's a very mild one. The most advantageous side effect of Ephedra is appetite suppressant. However, if you are lifting weights then suppressing your appetite will be a negative thing. At your age I would suggest you just get back into the swing of things. It's December, so it's not like anyone is going to see you shirtless on teh beach any time soon. You have several months to get in shape. Good luck.

Ephedra when used properly can be a valuable tool. However my concern is that you are unconditioned. Therefore during weight lifting and cardio sessions your heart will be required to work extra hard. The ephedra will add additional stress to the heart. First focus on conditioning your heart, then as it become stronger you can add thermogenic supplements.

Paitience is a virtue of wisemen. You didn't get out of shape over night and you won't get into shape over night regardless of what you take.

Remember, exercise creates and maintains a healthly body, looking good is just a secondary side effect. To look good with poor health is useless. Don't over tax your heart with epehedra.

To me none of the so called fat burners work, its all hype. The only thing i found that i like to take while working out is the Amped by Met-RX. I know it sould like im pushing this product, but it really is great for the extra energy and pumps at the gym.
