So now I feel like a complete moron! The tree that I originally thought was a lime tree, that turned out to be a lemon tree has a problem........The lemons are turning orange! I have a freaking orange tree in my back yard! Awesome but we've been using these things for like almost 4 months now in our food. I can't believe we didn't get sick from eating that fruit when it wasn't even close to being ripe!

lol the most you would have gotten probably would have been a belly ache...did the fruit even TASTE sour like a lemon or lime though? Are they round now like an orange ? lol

I swear they are going to be apples or pineapples next!
They were first green and shaped exactly like a lime.....Then they got a tad bigger and started to turn yellow like a lemon........Now they are completely round and orange! And the odd thing is the last time I picked it and ate it I was convinced I was eating a lemon. It even tasted exactly like a lemon!
Needless to say I'm waiting another 2 weeks to eat them again just to be safe.
So I guess that means no lemons for you Skarhead! HAHA
Now I'm officially a moron! I think I took stupid pills for the last few years. After careful evaluation and tasting they are officially lemons. They just looked orange last time due to the lighting of the sun. What a freaking moron I am!

HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!!!! So I picked all my lemons off of my tree because they were starting to turn a little orange and I didn't want them to go bad. Now I put them in my fridge and 4 days later they are all almost completely orange. Now when they were yellow and I cut them open and ate them they tasted like lemons and smelled like lemons. Now that they are completely orange the lemon smell is gone and they now smell like oranges. I'm going to cut one open now and see if it tastes like oranges.
