I just started using Solid Whey protien by Solid Muscle. I used Optimum before this and it's tastes pretty good in skim. But let me tell you, that this Solid Muscle is hands down awesome and really blows away optimum in taste!!
I even made it in water( i never do this ) and it was still awesome. Every batch is lab tested and you can verify on thier website. It is also cheap at $38.99 for 10Lbs. I caught a website goof and got it for $36.99. Flat shipping was about $6.00 from http://www.allsportsnutrition.com/index.php check it out.

How long ahve you been taking it and how much do you supplement in a day JM?

Basically I am wondering how its tolerability is on the stomach and degestive system. Some protein makes me real gassy (mostly the cheaper kinds) and if I take too much ON it kinda runs right through me. I have to split it up with Protein Factory or True Protein or something.

That SolidWhey is very affordable though and I have wondered about trying it a few times. Mick says the taste doesnt stand up too well (he has high standards lol)- but its not that hard to beat the taste of ON (not bad but definitely not good either compared to others)

I'm taking three shakes a day at 2 scoops each shake plus I add a lowfat yogurt to it . That puts it at 50G give or take a few. I can tell you that I am a ***** when it comes to the taste of shakes. I just will not drink a bad tasting shake so taste is number one to me. I used ALLTHEWHEY before and it tasted good but had label issues. Optimum wasn't too bad but not the greatest either. As far as the stomach issues, I haven't had any problems and I can create a nasty fart from drinking water.Been on it for about a week now and i'm using vanilla. Try adding fat free yogurt to it for variety. I get tired of the same flavor every day.Everyone has different tastes but I'd disagree with Mick and IMHO its the best I've had and way better than ON which usually comes out on top on the polls here about member usage.
