    Re: Creatine Cycling.....

Thanks for all the responses it definetely helps. Keep em coming!

Oh btw as for losing your gains after stopping creatine intake I don't totally agree with that. When I took creatine in January of 2004 I gained 20 lbs in that month. When I stopped my cycle I only lost 3-4 pounds of that. So I'm hoping this cycle will shoot me to my new goal of 210lbs.

That is odd how it says 'natural creatine production' Creatine is ingested, it is a combination of three amino acids, they body cannot make it own its own. Obviously there are some facts left out of that statment that Geesler posted

As for cycling, the goal is muscle saturation. Once saturation is achieved it doesn't really matter when you take, just take it with food. For achieving saturation, I would suggest post wo with your post wo food

Creatine is made up of three amino acids - Arginine, Glycine and Methionine. Our liver has the ability to combine these three amino acids and make creatine.

                  Re: Creatine Cycling.....

Once our muscles are saturated with creatine, our livers stops producing it.

"Normally, creatine is acquired through regular dietary intake of products such as meat and fish, which are high in protein. However, when dietary intake is low creatine can be produced from natural amino acids such as glycine, arginine, and methionine in the liver, kidneys, and pancreas. Creatine monohydrate is the synthetic form of creatine..."
