          gress. If I hear anyone say "cutter" or "bulker" again on this board, you get the official title of "bodybuilding.com guy", like a scarlet letter. This is constant bulking and cutting at the same time and you dont forsake one for the other unless your competing for a show

          this should be implemented on this board!

            i dunno I kinda look at it like if i use the term bulking it refers to not monitoring my diet too much just making sure I get enough protein cuzz I def getting enough carbs/fat and using aas that promote all out mass/strength and cutting as being real strict on my diet and using drugs that promote vascularity/density as opposed to all out mass. To say it is stupid is a touch much I think. PS im 6'2 and my bf has never been over 12% if that in my life so my idea of being bulked up isnt getting to be a fat ass either I do know what you mean though, I hate fat people who think it is muscle, you know who u are too lard asses.

              Ok so u're 12, thats decently lean. this doesnt apply to you i gues.

              though, most people who dont monitor their diet to make sure they get enough kcals are the ones who end up being fat fucks (but also think they are getting the most muscle from it when in reality they're gaining lots of fat w/ their "new muscle". and then they must "cut"(not grow any muscle at all for a quarter) to get down to a decent BF... why not just stay lean all year around? I dont really see an arguement to defy this article at all. If your goal is to get muscle and stay lean then why not do this?

                actually im about 9% right now but 12% was probably highest ever and it wasnt for too long....I know what you mean though skar, the only problem with that statement is not taking into the consideration the guys who say that in the context of how I was describing using the terms cutter/bulker...I do totally agree with the concept of that statement though, I dont understand why guys would make such progress towards overall fitness and then go hog wild with eating way too much just empty calories, you dont have to do that to gain optimal muscle. Still a good post but I was just throwing in my 2 cents....

                  i understand.. but like the article says above, if u're around 7-14 (i think 14 is a little high, i rather have it 7-12 but thats just me -- i dont like how my body fat is distrubuted, i look like shit if i go 10 or over imo) than u're lean enough. As long as u're pounding the SHIT out of your protein and doing whatever you can in your power to keep your body fat down u're going to grow like a god damn hoss and look fucking good whiel u're at it. not only that u'll be doing it year round!

                  instead we see these posts "im 12% im gonna run a "bulker" eat w/e the fuck i want not give a fuck just to pu ton mass" then they brag abou the 15 lbs they gained ( a lot of it fat) then post up their "cutter " for the next 4-6 mon ths they're not gaining any muscle .. so if yyou bulk 1/2 the year and cut 1/2 the year after 10 years of lifting only 5 was spent gaining muscle. thats a waste of fucking tim ein the gym if you ask me!! and it just kills me to read these posts!!

                    I know what you mean though, I dont understand the logic behind eating like shit myself even though you are bulking.....all those extra grams of saturated fat and simple sugars and starchy carbs arent doing a damn thing....I think alot of guys do it too though because of the strength gains.

                      Most guys can stay strong lean though.. many PLs are VERY lean... I think people do it b/c they think they're gaining a shi ton of muscle.
