  • Creatine and Foods?

    Hey guys, im taking a powder creatine right now called Cellmass, i was thinking about mixing it in with a low fat/no sugar applesauce. Do u guys think that this will work ok? And when would be the best time to take it.... Before or After workouts??

          High glycemic carbs (dextrose) aid the transport through the digestive process. I prefer after workout with 50g dextrose and 40g whey.

              I wouldnt take craetine w/ foods at all. cellmass IMO is crap anyway get some CEE

                I mix mine with apple juice before working out and my protein-carb shake after.

                  It is not going to make a huge difference whether before or after. You really don’t have to take it at any specific time, other than that you do what to take it with food. Your goal is muscle saturation.

                  It is preferable that you take it with a high protein, high simple carbohydrate food. That is why most take it after a workout. After a workout you should consume an easily digestible protein and carbohydrate (whey protein powder and dextrose is optimal), therefore it makes good common sense to take your creatine then.
